5.5m long punching machine for Ammeraal Beltech

Since 2012, TES Vsetín has also included the 🔵 TED division, which, among other things, is involved in the production of single-purpose machines and has many successful projects behind it. One of the latest is the design and delivery of a punching machine for the world leader in the development and production of conveyor belts, Ammeraal Beltech https://www.linkedin.com/company/ammeraalbeltech/

The machine, which cuts a conveyor belt with Finger-overlap-finger splice up to 4.2 m wide, is our customer’s longest punching machine. 🥳  It was even delivered en block without disassembly and thus put into operation in a short time ⏱️ to the satisfaction of the customer. 🤩 Conveyor belts are widely used in the automotive, food and tyre industries, but you also meet them at airports or at checkouts.

The punching plate pushes the conveyor belt against the matrix with knives, which can punch material up to 8mm thick (containing rigid Kevlar) in one stroke using the hydraulically controlled pressure plate. The heart of the machine is an aggregate that supplies pressure up to 700 bar.

The design team of Bohuslav Valigura and Petr Janota, led by Michal Krsek, worked on the project. Michal Frydrych ensured the programming and Tomáš Novosad took care of the electrical distribution of the machine. Lukáš Matula and Jan Pifka led the production.
