TES VSETÍN and Nord Hydro entered into an agreement on a project in the Republic of Karelia

The Russian-Czech Conference on Business and Industrial Cooperation was held in St. Petersburg on May 28, 2013. It had been initiated by the Czech consulate in St. Petersburg.  TES VSETÍN s.r.o. and JSC Nord Hydro put signatures to a contract on generator delivery for the hydro power plant of “Kalliokoski“ in the Republic of Karelia.

 

The aforesaid leading generator shall be followed up by delivery of 56 generators, as agreed in the Exclusive General Agreement, signed in February 2013. This Agreement shall be valid until 2020.

The Vice-governor of St. Petersburg, Igor Golikov, who is responsible for the business and economy of the trading country, welcomed the delegates of the conference.

The Czech delegation visiting Russia was accompanied by the Prime Minister, Petr Nečas.  The Secretary of Commerce and Industry of the Czech Republic, Martin Kuba, and the President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Hanák, were present at the conference, too. Representatives of over 70 Czech companies, taking part in the mission to Russia, have signed contracts and projects worth more than 400 million Euro.

In addition to the above mentioned Exclusive General Agreement, TES VSETIN, in cooperation with Strojírny Brno, delivered electromechanical device for a small hydro power plant “Rjumjakoski“, which is also owned by Nord Hydro. The delivery was effected in April, and the power plant shall be commissioned in July this year.
