Cool News on Cooperation with Siemens

It is nothing new that our TED Division has developed a cooperation of many years‘ standing with Siemens, Czech Republic, Industry Automation Division, Drives.

However, a growing intensity of good relations is always something to be appreciated. In March 2014, there was a meeting of top managers of IA&DT Siemens, s.r.o., Dr. Bohumil Brodský, and Chief Executive of TES VSETÍN s.r.o., Mr. David Bečvář. Other representatives for TES, namely for TED Division, were Ms. Lenka Urbánková Jarešová, Director of TED Division, and Business Manager, Ms. Jana Stupková.

Another significant event which was held in the name of Siemens, took place in Prague at the end of May. We were pleased to attend a notable social event given by our Siemens business partners. Thanks to this occasion, we have won a lot of considerable contacts.

Early in 2014, TES  bought a brand new car for the purposes of our engineering service crew. It’s a Fiat Ducato, tastefully plastered with stickers.

TES VSETÍN s.r.o. successfully tests the Lifeprotect device designed for the remote monitoring

TES developed the device designed primarily for small hydroelectric and wind power plants last year, and  recently managed to successfully implement and put the device into operation in the real conditions of a hydroelectric power plant.

On 2 October 2013, TES successfully commissioned the Lifeprotect© device designed for owners of hydroelectric and wind power plants.

“We offer a service that involves the diagnostics of operated equipment, making it possible to monitor the function of rotary machinery to prevent potential future failures,” said Lenka Urbánková Jarešová, the head of the TED Electric Drives Division.

The testing took place and will continue at a hydroelectric power plant in Bulgaria, where TES supplied the generator and turbine manufactured by the Czech firm Mavel.

Lifeprotect© is a registered trademark of TES VSETÍN, which is now looking for other locations to test this unique device. Interest is expected among the operators of small hydroelectric power plants and service companies. The Lifeprotect© service is also suitable for technical pre-investment inspections of installed electrical rotating machines.
