TES VSETÍN and Nord Hydro have Signed an Agreement for Cooperation


St. Petersburg – on 21 February 2013, a cooperation agreement was signed in the grounds of the Consulate-General of the Czech Republic in St. Petersburg, between TES VSETÍN, a limited liability company represented by its CEO, David Bečvář, and Nord Hydro, a joint-stock company represented by its CEO, Alexei V. Vinogradov.  

In the presence of Mr Karel Charanza, Consul-General of the Czech Republic, and Valentin Chmil, Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia, the parties signed a cooperation agreement for the supply of 56 generators with a total output of over 130 MW for the construction, reconstruction and modernisation of small hydroelectric power plants in the Russian Federation over the next 7 years. TES VSETÍN has thus become the exclusive supplier of generators for these projects. Between 2013 and 2016 TES VSETÍN will deliver 27 hydroelectric generators with a total output of 59 MW, followed by 29 hydroelectric generators with a total output of 78.5 MW between 2016 and 2020. The projects will be implemented in cooperation with a Russian manufacturing partner.

The agreement is the result of several months of intensive cooperation, thanks to which the first small hydroelectric power plant running a TES generator will be launched in the Republic of Karelia during the first half of this year. 

In addition to supplying electrical machines, TES VSETÍN has initiated negotiations for the supplies of special testing units for the heavy vehicle segment in the territory concerned.
