DC motors for general use, S series
S series DC motors are destined for drives with high dynamics, overloading and wide regulating ranges. They can operate in either rotation direction. Thanks to an optimal design solution, they achieve high reliability and long operating life. They are fed from controlled rectifiers. These motors are fitted with thermal sensors, tachogenerators, or other options according to the customer's demand.
Speed can be controlled by armature voltage from virtually zero to a given speed at a constant torque, and further by field suppression up to the maximum rpm with a constant output.
We have delivered thousands of these motors for drives in the rubber and paper industries, for machine-tools, lifts and other applications.
